Celebrate the Peace Corps’ 65th Anniversary at the Mass. State House with a nearby reception on Thursday October 29th.
Join BARPCV and State Representative James Arena-DeRosa for a celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Peace Corps. We’ll have a ceremony at the State House’s magnificent Grand Stairway from 4:00pm to 5:00pm with words from BARPCV, Rep. Arena-DeRosa, former Peace Corps Director Jody Olsen, and NPCA President Carla Brown and others as the program is finalized.
A reception will follow the ceremony for the recently returned and soon departing Peace Corps volunteers. This will be held at Beacon Hill’s nearby Carrie Nation Restaurant in the private front room from 5:30PM to 8:00PM.
The fee is $25 for the reception, with donations welcome. There is no charge for the State House event.
