What: Pruning and weeding in an urban garden - training provided
Where: Kelleher Rose Garden, Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Boston -- close to the Green Line E train - Northeastern stop (map below)
When: Tuesday, July 7th, 5:30-7:30pm and optional dinner afterward
Bring: water, closed-toe shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty - tools and gloves provided

We are going to have a blast at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory warehouse, helping to provide children with the basic essentials they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. Cradles to Crayons is at 155 North Beacon St, Brighton, MA 02135.

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Saturday, October 18...post-volunteering eat/drinks/coffee afterwards!

Edible Plant Walk

Never go hungry during a hike through the woods again! Professional environmentalist and wild-foods enthusiast Russ Cohen will be leading a two-hour walking tour of the edible plants of Alewife

Where: Alewife Reservation in Cambridge, a 2-3 minute walk from the Alewife T Station. We will meet at the parking lot on Acorn Park Drive.

You can also join us for dinner afterward at Summer Shack.
