Boston Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers

Pig Roast Party – A RPCV Event

Aug 13 2011 - 5:00pm - 10:00pm

Shelley and Richard Holzman, RPCV Philippines 1961 – 1963, cordially invite the Peace Corps community to their home to commemorate the Peace Corps’ 50th anniversary.  Join area RPCVs for an evening dedicated to remembering the communities where we served, the people we served with, and the men and women who founded the agency.

Saturday, August 13th

5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

14 Ingell Rd

Chester, MA 01011

The Holzmans will roast a pig and provide beverages; they also hope to have a band (suggestions welcome). Meteor showers are expected!

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring a side dish or desert to accompany the pig.  Also, yard games – corn hole, washers, bocce ball, etc. – would make nice additions.  Note: bonfires are likely to be prohibited due to the dry season.

CAMPING/HIKING

For those who are interested, the Holzmans’ property offers beautiful acreage in which to camp or hike.  Please indicate if you plan to hike and/or camp overnight when you RSVP.  Bonfires are prohibited and campers should bring their own breakfast.  There are no events planned for the morning.
